Bidirectional AC Platform for Input and Output Validation
The CORTEX Series Programmable AC Power Source (formerly PRE / PRE-20) is a rack-mount, modular AC power system with integrated source-load functionality for precision AC power testing. It supports AC input disturbance simulation, ultra-high-frequency operation up to 5 kHz, power HIL integration, and AC sinking mode for evaluating a DUT’s output stability, efficiency, and protection behavior. With high accuracy and fast dynamic response, CORTEX AC is well suited for laboratory test benches and electromagnetic-compatibility-related power testing applications.
Building on these capabilities, CORTEX AC features a high-bandwidth control architecture with fast transient response, enabling accurate replication of AC disturbances and dynamic load interactions. Fine output resolution, precise phase control, and arbitrary waveform programming ensure repeatable testing of voltage, frequency, and unbalanced conditions. Its modular rack-mount design scales from 22 kVA in 3U up to 220 kVA, making it an efficient solution for medium-power laboratory validation and compliance-oriented AC power testing.
